




Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring the good condition of haul roads and drainage at the mine by managing maintenance plans and supervising operations. Key Highlights: 1. Lead and supervise the maintenance of haul roads and drainage in Mine Operations. 2. Manage auxiliary equipment and personnel for road maintenance. 3. Coordinate with Geotechnical Engineering for slope stabilization. **POSITION MISSION:** Execute the mine haul road and drainage maintenance plan to ensure the good condition of haul roads used for transporting material to the crusher, stockpiles, and dumps, as well as tire care and drainage management within the Mine Operations area. **FUNCTIONS:** * Develop and supervise the execution of the annual maintenance plan and budget for haul roads and drainage in Mine Operations. * Develop the equipment and personnel requirement plan. * Coordinate with the shift supervisor and/or Mine Supervisor and Planning to identify appropriate material storage zones for road ballast. * Develop the annual plan for required volume of suitable material for haul road ballasting. * Manage the operation of auxiliary equipment for haul road, slope, and drainage maintenance in Mine Operations. * Supervise activities related to installation, relocation, and placement of electrical cables and aerial bridges. * Responsible for care and replacement of electrical cables and aerial bridges. * Supervise slope and subsidence stabilization works in coordination with Geotechnical Engineering. * Prepare monthly reports and reports requested by the Mine Superintendency and Mine Operations Head. * Prepare monthly staff timesheets and submit them to HR. The Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine fully executed and developed from inception abroad by a Chinese enterprise. It is located in the district of Morococha, province of Yauli, department of Junín, at over 4,500 meters above sea level. It features a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important enterprises within China Copper and CHINALCO’s largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary.
