Job Summary: Analyze and perform tasks related to mining face review, preparing reports to ensure information quality and reliability. Key Highlights: 1. Short-term block model generation and updating. 2. Support during mining face inspections and grade control. 3. Analysis and support for daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations. **JOB MISSION:** Analyze, execute, and address activities/tasks required for mining face review, preparing requested reports (shift handover report with previous shift’s progress, results, shovel face grades based on blast hole grades, and updated plan) to ensure proper mining face review and verify the quality and reliability of information presented in prepared reports. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Generate and update the short-term block model estimation with all variables required by Mine Planning per the Ore Control Manual. * Analyze and support validation of data used as input for short-term model development and resulting block model, loading the updated block model into the dispatch system (Minestar). * Support mining face inspections, verifying correct material assignment at shovel faces, ore blending, grade control, control of major contaminants, particle size control at faces, and control of uncrushables. * Update daily mining progress in the Ore Control project, generating shift-based plans for all variables of interest. * Update databases and generate shift-based mine planning reports, daily crusher feed reports, and other requested reports. * Analyze and support daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of mine blocks and stock, reviewing prior-day information. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports for all chemical laboratories (internal and/or external) processing samples, including internal laboratory excursion inspections. * Support selection and shipment of double-bank and/or blast hole samples for XRD mineralogical analysis. * Support various continuous improvement projects related to Ore Control. * Conduct drone flights and generate photogrammetry for areas specified by the immediate supervisor. The Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine fully executed and developed from inception overseas by a Chinese enterprise. It is located in the district of Morococha, province of Yauli, department of Junín, at over 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tonnes of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of China Copper’s most important enterprises and CHINALCO’s largest wholly-owned foreign company.
