




**JOB MISSION:** Supervise the work of external professionals and consultants specializing in Civil-Structural Engineering in coordination with Project Leaders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of engineering activities across conceptual study, pre-feasibility, feasibility, and execution phases (detailed engineering, construction, commissioning), while complying with industrial safety, environmental (MASSC), and other applicable standards. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** Supervise the work of external professionals and consultants in Civil Engineering, establishing resource allocation plans and monitoring and controlling various projects according to established priorities, technical specifications, and project standards. Develop and update design criteria, civil drawings for projects within the portfolio, as well as internal work procedures and discipline-specific standards. Supervise the proper execution of discipline-specific activities in accordance with agreed commitments, coordinating with relevant parties including the main contractor, end-user departments, and construction teams. Provide timely updates on the status of the discipline throughout the project portfolio lifecycle, supporting execution-phase activities using monitoring and control tools. Control expenditures and costs associated with discipline-specific activities. In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to build, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper mega-project. Toromocho Mining Unit is the first world-class copper mine fully executed and developed from inception abroad by a Chinese company. It is located in the district of Morococha, Yauli Province, Junín Department, at an altitude exceeding 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important companies within China Copper and CHINALCO’s largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree and professional registration in Civil Engineering. Minimum 8 years of overall experience, including 5 years in the industry and 3 years in the target position. Intermediate level of English proficiency. Intermediate proficiency in AUTOCAD, EXCEL, and MS PROJECT. Basic proficiency in ACONEX. Driver’s license class A1 (desirable).
