Manage the patent approval process **POSITION MISSION:** Plan, manage, and control the development of projects related to new technologies and processes, coordinating with key stakeholders and supervising compliance with safety and environmental standards, to ensure successful implementation of new technology and process projects, thereby contributing to the achievement of corporate and parent company strategic objectives. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Identify, plan, and manage the application of new technologies and processes that could be implemented in MCP operations—from conceptualization through pre-feasibility stage. * Manage and control the development of each new technology and process project, reporting progress levels and budget execution to the Superintendent of Technological Innovation. * Manage the design, implementation, and updating of technological innovation policies and procedures at MCP, coordinating their dissemination and validating alignment with corporate and parent company strategic objectives. * Lead required coordination with research centers in Peru and abroad to execute ongoing technology projects. * Manage and control compliance with safety and environmental standards during technological innovation project development. * Lead the patent approval process for new processes generated by executed implementations. In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to construct, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper mega-project. The Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine fully executed and developed from inception overseas by a Chinese enterprise. It is located in the district of Morococha, province of Yauli, department of Junín, at an altitude exceeding 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important companies within China Copper and CHINALCO’s largest wholly owned foreign subsidiary. Requirements **1\.\- Degrees:** MECHATRONIC ENGINEERING, METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING, MINING ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, OR RELATED ENGINEERING FIELDS **2\.\- Experience:** 10 years overall, 5 years in the sector, 3 years in the position **3\.\- Technical Tools:** EXCEL (Intermediate), BIM 360 AUTODESK (Basic), JK SIM MET (Basic), AUTOCAD (Basic), PRIMAVERA (Basic), MS Power BI (Basic) **4\.\- Certifications:** A1 Driver's License **KNOWLEDGE:** * Strategic planning knowledge * Metallurgical testing and mineralogy * Technological project management * Development and control of project execution plans * Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHSE) regulations applicable to projects * Patent management Benefits Benefits as stipulated by law and MCP compensation policy.
