**JOB MISSION:** Operate assigned mine equipment in an effective and safe manner to contribute to the continuity of operations. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Operate mining equipment for which they are trained and certified according to their training process, MCP policies and procedures. * Verify the area, prepare the IPERC and required management documents. * Inspect the equipment prior to operation, checking system functionality (brakes, steering, suspensions and/or rollover protection systems). * Report any incident, accident, or substandard conditions that could affect personnel safety, equipment operability, or the environment. * Evaluate terrain (depth, hardness, slopes, moisture, etc.) and perform activities related to the assigned equipment. * Recover and maintain operational signage during construction and maintenance of safety berms, keeping the work area orderly and clean. * Comply with safety standards such as cleaning the work area using assigned equipment. * Maintain continuous radio communication, interacting with production teams, support units, and field supervision. * Assist in relocating and positioning electrical cables as operationally required for shovels and drills. * Perform other duties assigned by immediate supervisors aligned with area objectives. In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to build, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper megaproject. Toromocho Mining Unit is the first world-class copper mine that a Chinese company has executed and developed entirely from inception overseas. It is located in the Morococha district, Yauli province, Junín department, at over 4,500 meters above sea level. It features a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of China Copper's most important companies and CHINALCO's largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary. Requirements 1\.\- Completed secondary education **2\.\- Experience:** 2 years general, 2 years in the sector, 1 year in the position **3\.\- Licenses:** Class AIIIA driver's license (minimum one year validity) \| Class AI driver's license (minimum three years validity) **KNOWLEDGE:** * Knowledge of mining safety, occupational health, and environmental practices in mining. * Fundamentals of earthmoving \- Komatsu WB93R backhoe loader. * Technical fundamentals of WB93R backhoe loader, compactor roller, Freightliner service truck, 30-ton crane truck, 5000-gallon tanker truck, or TRUCK CRH 450 cable reel truck. * Inspection of WB93R backhoe loader, compactor roller, Freightliner service truck, 30-ton crane truck, 5000-gallon tanker truck, or TRUCK CRH 450 cable reel truck. * Operation of WB93R backhoe loader, compactor roller, Freightliner service truck, 30-ton crane truck, 5000-gallon tanker truck, or TRUCK CRH 450 cable reel truck.
