**Job Objective:** Operate the forklift safely, efficiently, and responsibly, ensuring proper handling, loading, unloading, and placement of materials, pallets, and lumber within the plant or warehouse, safeguarding cargo integrity, equipment care, and compliance with established safety and productivity standards. **Requirements:** \- Completed secondary education \- Technical training in forklift or heavy machinery operation is desirable. \- Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in warehouses or industrial plants. \- Safe operation of forklifts (gas, electric, or diesel) \- Knowledge of internal traffic signs and industrial safety regulations. \- Loading, unloading, and stacking techniques. \- Basic preventive maintenance of equipment. \- Valid forklift operator license or certification (desirable). **Main Responsibilities:** \- Operate the forklift to move materials within the plant, warehouse, or operational yard. \- Load and unload pallets, lumber, or other products following supervisor instructions. \- Place materials in designated storage areas according to storage standards. \- Inspect materials’ physical condition and report damage or incidents. \- Conduct daily inspections of the forklift (fuel, battery, tires, brakes, forks). \- Adhere to safety procedures during equipment operation. \- Maintain order and cleanliness in loading and unloading areas. \- Assist in order preparation and inventory control as required. \- Report any equipment defects or required maintenance to the immediate supervisor. \- Observe internal traffic routes and signage within the plant.
