Participation in power plant maintenance **ENERGY SECTOR BUSINESS GROUP** **HAS THE FOLLOWING STAFF REQUIREMENT:** **POSITION**: **HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT OPERATOR (Caraz Branch)** **EDUCATION:** Technical or university graduate in Electricity, Electronics, Mechanics, or related fields. **OTHER BASIC KNOWLEDGE IN**: Operation of Hydroelectric Power Plants, Automation, Industrial Electrotechnics, Power Electrical Systems. MS Office (User level). **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Coordinate operational activities carried out at the power plant, verifying equipment and machinery status, as well as auxiliary services of the plant. Monitor and record operational parameters and auxiliary service systems of the power plant. Prepare hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly reports on electrical, hydraulic, production, and operational incident parameters. Extract and prepare reports from electronic energy meters. Record incidents and alarm indications to coordinate corrective actions. Inform the Power Plant Manager about maintenance needs. Regulate energy generation according to water availability. Coordinate operational activities for equipment shutdowns for maintenance. Participate in and support power plant maintenance activities when required. Monitor compliance with work order issuance, as well as safety restrictions and environmental protection measures. **COMPETENCIES:** Responsibility, commitment, teamwork, adaptability, willingness to learn. **PREFERRED**: Residence in Huaraz or areas near CARAZ. **EXPERIENCE:** Minimum 1 year performing this position or internships in Hydroelectric, Thermal Power Plant Operations, electromechanical companies, or substations. NOTE: DO NOT SUBMIT ACADEMIC OR WORK CERTIFICATES. **THE COMPANY OFFERS** Training / on-the-job training for functional development. Work schedule: 8 days on duty followed by 6 days off.
