Position Summary: We are seeking a professional to lead the comprehensive management of strategic projects at the La Oroya Metallurgical Complex, optimizing mining-metallurgical operations. Key Highlights: 1. Lead investment projects in mining-metallurgical operations. 2. Manage CAPEX, budgets, and optimize costs. 3. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure regulatory compliance. **WE ARE SEEKING A PROJECT MANAGER** **Metalurgia Business Perú S.A.A.** is looking for a professional to lead the comprehensive management of strategic projects at the La Oroya Metallurgical Complex, focused on development, expansion, and optimization of mining-metallurgical operations. **Functions and Responsibilities:** * Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of investment projects in mining-metallurgical operations. * Manage CAPEX, budgets, valuations, change orders, and financial variances, optimizing costs. * Monitor actual vs. budgeted costs and identify operational constraints in brownfield projects, implementing timely corrective actions. * Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and lead progress meetings, interference management, and recovery plans. * Lead tenders, procurement, and evaluation of suppliers and consultants. * Manage technical, economic, environmental, and safety risks. * Ensure regulatory compliance in occupational health and safety, and environmental protection. * Apply PMI standards or equivalent project management methodologies. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Chemical Engineering, duly licensed and registered with the corresponding professional association. * **Experience:** Minimum 8 years, including at least 5 years leading mining-metallurgical projects. Experience in concentrator plants, smelters, refineries, or pyrometallurgical processes is desirable. * **Knowledge:** Project management, CAPEX/OPEX, economic evaluation, and contract administration. PMI, PMP, or PMO certification is desirable. * **Tools:** MS Project, advanced Excel, and project management software. * **Competencies:** Leadership, planning ability, negotiation skills, results orientation, analytical thinking, and management of multidisciplinary teams. * **Availability:** On-site work in La Oroya under shift system.
