PLANT AUXILIARY SERVICES SUPERVISOR

Position Summary: Supervise and coordinate technical/administrative activities related to preparation, transportation, and storage of reagents; supply of grinding balls; and support tasks to ensure production plan fulfillment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the execution of cleaning and supplies procurement plans. 2. Lead the operation activities of yellow-line equipment and heavy-duty fleet. 3. Actively participate in budget and KPI formulation and control. **POSITION MISSION:** Supervise, control, and coordinate the execution of technical/administrative activities related to preparation, transportation, and storage of reagents at designated locations; supply of steel grinding balls to mills; and mobile equipment support tasks (e.g., bulldozers, trucks, cranes, etc.), coordinating with plant supervision on industrial cleaning activities to ensure production plan compliance through continuous execution of auxiliary operations at the concentrator plant. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Prepare activity execution plans by evaluating equipment, personnel, and resource requirements for mineral handling at stockpiles, cleaning of the "dump pocket" and "surge pocket". * Coordinate with logistics for reagent transfer and execute operations at the lime slurry plant. * Prepare and lead the execution of cleaning plans for ponds, sumps, and various plant areas, including any requirements requested by operations. * Lead grinding ball supply activities to mills and provision of necessary inputs for the operations area. * Lead operation activities of yellow-line equipment and assigned heavy-duty fleet for the operations area, maintaining accident risk under control. * Coordinate with shift supervision on tasks assigned during plant shutdowns. * Coordinate maintenance scheduling for yellow-line equipment and heavy-duty fleet assigned to the Operations Area. * Prepare execution plans for area improvement initiatives and lead implementation of established activities. * Lead safety and environmental matters within the area, protecting the integrity of both company and contractor personnel, ensuring compliance with safety talks, and executing corrective actions for unsafe conditions and substandard acts. * Actively participate in budget (CAPEX and OPEX) and production KPI formulation and control for areas under responsibility, applying established guidelines to implement cost-reduction initiatives/actions. In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to construct, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper mega-project. The Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine fully executed and developed from inception overseas by a Chinese enterprise. It is located in the Morococha District, Yauli Province, Junín Department, at over 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 metric tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of China Copper’s most important enterprises and CHINALCO’s largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary. Requirements **1\.\- Degrees:** METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING, CHEMICAL ENGINEERING, INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING **2\.\- Experience:** 8 years overall, 5 years in the mining sector, 3 years in the position **3\.\- Technical Tools:** EXCEL (Intermediate), PI System Administration (Basic) **4\.\- Certifications:** Experience in managing yellow-line equipment **5\.\- Licenses:** Degree holder, professionally licensed, and authorized to practice; Class AI Driver’s License. **KNOWLEDGE:** * Concentrator plant production process * Knowledge of piping systems and P\&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and GA drawings * Operational and metallurgical process planning * Handling and manipulation of chemical reagents * Reagent handling and consumption * Maintenance planning for yellow-line equipment * Knowledge of mining safety, occupational health, and environmental practices applied at concentrator plants Benefits Compensation in accordance with MCP salary policies.
