Position Summary: A major mining company is seeking an SSOMA Supervisor to implement and execute safety, health, and environmental standards, lead investigations, and verify regulatory compliance. A prominent mining company producing zinc, silver, and lead is searching for top talent for the SSOMA Supervisor position, requiring the following qualifications: REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, licensed and registered professional in Mining Engineering, Geology, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Occupational Hygiene and Safety, or related fields. Minimum 3 years of experience as an SSOMA Supervisor. Experience as a Safety Supervisor in hydrocarbon-related activities. Valid A2B driver's license (valid Skills Certificate). Minimum 1 year of experience entering underground mines (socavón). Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Specialized training and/or studies in Occupational Safety and Health (minimum 120 hours). Knowledge of HAZMAT I and II. Knowledge of equipment maintenance and first aid. Familiarity with the Occupational Safety and Health Regulation for Mining, approved by Supreme Decree No. 024-2016-EM. Thorough understanding of hazard identification and risk assessment. Ability to develop written safe work procedures (PETS). Systematic analysis of written permits for high-risk work (PETAR). Ability to draft and knowledge of operational standards. Willingness to work at a mine site. Preference for candidates residing in Huancayo, Huancavelica, Cerro de Pasco, and/or Junín. FUNCTIONS: Implement safety, health, and environmental standards, procedures, regulations, and policies. Develop, plan, coordinate, and execute training activities in safety, health, and environment. Conduct and support audits and technical advisory services in safety, health, and environmental matters, in accordance with current legislation. Execute and lead accident and near-miss incident investigations related to safety, health, and environment. Monitor and/or implement actions and recommendations outlined in investigation reports and documents requested by the client. Review change management processes and risk assessments for new projects and/or contractors. Prepare monthly safety, health, and environmental management indicators. Communicate, plan, and update contingency and emergency plans. Disseminate and promote bulletins and information issued by the safety, health, and environment department. Prepare periodic safety, health, and environmental reports and documentation. Verify proper use and functionality of tools assigned to operational tasks. Verify suitability and control of personal protective equipment (PPE). Develop and promote campaigns, events, and other initiatives related to safety, health, and environment. Verify proper disposal of waste across various areas of mining operations. Maintain active cooperation with operations and maintenance supervisors. Review operational safety management documents (IPERC, PETAR, Work Orders, and other required documents). Supervise underground mine (socavón) areas, verifying compliance with procedures and standards. Assume operational supervisor duties in case of contingencies. Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Benefits: Salary: S/3,800 + Bonus: S/200 100% covered travel allowances. Full payroll registration from the first day of employment, including all statutory benefits.
