Job stability and professional development **Job Opening – Drilling and Blasting Technician** We are currently looking for a **Drilling and Blasting Technician** to join our team at the mining unit. **Job Objective** Improve and optimize the drilling and blasting process within the mining plan, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with safety standards, and continuous improvement of operations. **Requirements** * Diploma in Mining Engineering and/or Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering. * Minimum 3 years of experience in mining activities related to this position in **underground mining**. * Basic knowledge of: * Long-hole drilling and blasting. * Horizontal face drilling using a Jumbo. * Proficiency in computer tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related software. **Main Responsibilities** * Coordinate and develop drilling pattern designs for development headings. * Monitor drilling efficiency for blastholes and development headings. * Provide technical support during mechanized drilling and blasting trials. * Implement improvements to drilling patterns and supervise their implementation. * Coordinate activities with various operational departments. * Manage resources and materials to ensure optimal operational performance. * Timely report completed activities to immediate supervisor. * Supervise and promote proper use of management tools. * Comply with and enforce safety standards, PETS, and correct use of PPE. **Working Conditions** * Mining work regime: 14 days on / 7 days off * Work location: Morococha Mining Unit * Formal employment with all statutory benefits * Career progression path * Job stability **Interested candidates who meet the profile may apply by submitting an updated CV indicating their salary expectations.** Salary: S/.2,500.00 \- S/.4,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
