Logistical coordination and findings reporting Job Objective Perform maintenance activities on Caterpillar mining equipment both in workshop and field settings, adhering to safety measures that prevent personal injury and property damage; subsequently executing these activities effectively and efficiently to achieve the fleet's expected performance levels. · Responsibilities Perform maintenance activities including major and minor component replacements, inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, in accordance with safety standards, communicating effectively with clear customer orientation. Coordinate with Logistics to ensure efficient and timely fulfillment of requirements necessary for executing assigned tasks both in workshop and field (e.g., tools, consumable materials). Report to the Maintenance Supervisor on work progress conducted in workshop and field, reporting findings, needs, and opportunities for process improvement. Complete documentation generated (Work Orders, generated Backlogs, Man-Hours Reports) resulting from equipment servicing, for subsequent submission to Maintenance Supervision and Planning. · Key Knowledge and Experience Graduate of technical programs in Automotive Mechanics, Maintenance Mechanics, Heavy Machinery, or related fields. Minimum 2 years of prior experience working in underground mining in similar positions. Basic English language proficiency. Basic MS Office proficiency. Valid driver's license.
