Underground mining experience Job Objective Carry out Caterpillar mining equipment maintenance activities both in the workshop and in the field, implementing safety measures to prevent personal injury and property damage; then perform these activities effectively and efficiently to achieve the expected fleet performance levels. · Responsibilities Perform maintenance activities including replacement of major and minor components, inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, in accordance with safety standards, communicating effectively and maintaining clear customer orientation. Coordinate with Logistics to ensure efficient and timely fulfillment of requirements necessary for executing assigned tasks both in the workshop and in the field (e.g., tools, consumable materials). Report to the Maintenance Supervisor on the progress of work carried out in the workshop and field, documenting findings, needs, and opportunities for process improvement. Complete generated documentation (Work Orders, generated Backlogs, Man-Hours Reports) resulting from equipment servicing, for subsequent submission to Maintenance Supervision and Planning. · Key Knowledge and Experience Graduate of technical programs in Automotive Mechanics, Maintenance Mechanics, Heavy Machinery, or related fields. Minimum two years of prior work experience in underground mining in similar positions. Basic English language proficiency. Basic MS Office proficiency. Valid driver's license.
