Job Summary: Safety Engineer responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, conducting inspections, training, and managing work permits on civil construction sites. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure compliance with safety standards and current regulations. 2. Conduct daily field inspections and manage high-risk work permits. 3. Deliver training sessions and investigate incidents to ensure a safe working environment. SAFETY ENGINEER **1\. Academic Qualifications** * Licensed and registered Industrial, Environmental, Mining, or related Engineering professional. **2\. Work Experience:** * Minimum 3 years of post-licensure experience in civil construction projects. **3\. Technical Competencies:** * Knowledge of current regulations (Supreme Decree No. 024-2016-EM and its amendments, Law No. 29783). * Proficiency in Continuous IPERC, ATS, PETS, high-risk work permits, and COLPA implementation. **4\. Personal Competencies:** * Effective communication with supervisors, contractors, and labor personnel. * Decision-making under pressure. * High sense of responsibility, commitment, and adaptability. **6\. Main Functions:** * Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. * Conduct daily field inspections. * Verify high-risk work permits. * Deliver inductions, training sessions, and safety talks. * Prepare reports, track findings, and investigate incidents. * Ensure compliance with our client’s safety standards. **7\. Desired Conditions:** * Availability to work under an atypical 20x10 schedule. * Residency in Trujillo city or nearby areas including Pataz. **8\.
