Participation in large-scale projects **WE ARE HIRING!** **SOILS TECHNICIAN** Water Reservoir Construction Project – Virú | Agricultural Farm **IRRIALTEC S.A.C.**, a leading company in agricultural engineering, reservoir construction, earthworks, and hydraulic works, is seeking an experienced **Soils Technician** specializing in quality control for civil works to join our team. **WHAT DO WE OFFER?** * Direct payroll enrollment from day one. * Competitive salary (to be discussed based on experience). * Work schedule of **21 days on / 7 days off**. * Round-trip transportation fully covered (**100%**) from and to your city of origin. * Full meals provided during site assignment. * Accommodation provided by the company. * SCTR Health and Pension Insurance. * Provision of complete, certified PPE. * Ongoing training in Safety, Occupational Health, and Quality. * Job stability and opportunities for professional growth. * Excellent work environment and participation in large-scale projects. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Perform soil quality control tests during reservoir construction. * Conduct field density tests using the Sand Cone or Nuclear Densometer (as specified by the project). * Perform natural moisture and moisture content tests. * Verify fill layer thicknesses and compaction. * Support execution and interpretation of Standard and Modified Proctor tests. * Monitor compliance with technical compaction specifications. * Record and prepare daily laboratory and field test result reports. * Coordinate quality control activities with the Quality Specialist and Site Resident Engineer. * Maintain laboratory and field equipment calibrated and in good working condition. * Strictly comply with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental procedures. **REQUIREMENTS** * Technical degree in Civil Construction, Soils Laboratory, Geotechnics, Civil Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum **2 years** of experience in soil quality control for civil works, reservoirs, roads, platforms, irrigation systems, or earthworks. * Knowledge and experience in: * Field Density Test. * Sand Cone Test. * Natural Moisture Content. * Standard and Modified Proctor Tests. * Soil Classification. * Compaction Control. * Knowledge of construction technical specifications and quality control standards. * Proficiency in quality control forms and technical reporting. * Willingness to work in **Virú** under a **21 days on / 7 days off** schedule. * Immediate availability. **COMPETENCIES** ✔ Strong sense of responsibility. ✔ Quality-oriented mindset. ✔ Teamwork skills. ✔ Organizational and documentation discipline. ✔ Honesty and integrity. ✔ Commitment to safety. ✔ Ability to work under pressure and meet targets. **WHY JOIN IRRIALTEC?** At IRRIALTEC, we develop hydraulic infrastructure projects that drive the growth of Peruvian agriculture.
