Job Summary: Responsible for formulating, implementing, and managing metallurgy, operations, and plant maintenance strategies, promoting the \ Key Highlights: 1. Monitor key performance indicators and action plans for optimization. **JOB MISSION:** Formulate, implement, and manage plant metallurgy, operations, and maintenance strategies in accordance with guidelines established by the Production Directorate, and be responsible for developing the "Zero Harm" culture within assigned areas to ensure required production levels in business operations, meeting established objectives for productivity, cost, safety, and environmental performance. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Plan and monitor the implementation of safety and environmental management guidelines within the Process Management Directorate, adopting a preventive approach and promoting the "Zero Harm" culture; lead by example and motivate staff to prioritize safety and environmental protection at all times, with special attention to the management and control of critical risks in coordination with superintendents. * Manage and monitor the implementation of plant metallurgy, operations, and maintenance strategies in accordance with guidelines established by the Production Directorate. * Monitor key performance indicators for plant metallurgy, operations, and maintenance processes, reporting results to the Production Directorate and executing required action plans for optimization in collaboration with the Integrated Improvement Department. * Manage budgeting processes, investment requirement identification, and cost-reduction initiatives related to plant metallurgy, operations, and maintenance, working collaboratively with the Integrated Control team and validating proposals per guidelines established by the Production Directorate, while leading financial resource/objective control under one's responsibility. * Manage the formulation, direction, and evaluation of projects related to plant metallurgy, operations, and maintenance, collaborating with the Integrated Improvement team and validating proposals per guidelines established by the Production Directorate, while leading execution of approved project plans under one's responsibility. * Lead implementation of the "Integrated Execution" strategy within the Process Management Directorate per guidelines established by the Production Directorate, deploying tools to continuously improve execution discipline. * Direct attention to activities required for plant metallurgy, operations, and maintenance processes per guidelines established by the Production Directorate. In 2007, Aluminum Corporation of China (CHINALCO) established Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. (Chinalco Perú) to build, develop, and operate the Toromocho copper mega-project. The Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine executed and developed from inception overseas by a Chinese enterprise. It is located in the district of Morococha, province of Yauli, department of Junín, at over 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important enterprises within China Copper and CHINALCO’s largest wholly-owned foreign subsidiary. Requirements **1\.\- Degrees:** METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING, CHEMICAL ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, MINING ENGINEERING, INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING **2\.\- Experience:** 20 years overall, 15 years in the sector, 5 years in the position **3\.\- Technical Tools:** EXCEL (Intermediate), PLANT PROCESS AND LABORATORY IT TOOLS (Intermediate) **4\.\- Licenses:** Degree holder, registered with professional association, and licensed to practice; Class A1 driver's license **KNOWLEDGE:** * Knowledge of mining safety, occupational health, and environmental practices applied in concentrator plants * Knowledge of Process Plant equipment (SABC) * Concentrator plant production process * Operations and metallurgical process planning * Evaluation and execution of plant maintenance strategies * Implementation of plant operational reliability strategies * Continuous improvement and optimization methodologies applied in plants * Evaluation of indicators, scenarios, and plant management projections Benefits Benefits as stipulated by law and MCP Compensation Policy.
