Responsibilities in surface protection system preparation and application **JOB PROFILE** **PAINTER TECHNICIAN (FLOOR COATING APPLICATOR)** We are PULICORP SAC, a leading Peruvian company specializing in industrial floor recovery and restoration, surface treatment, and concrete slabs, as well as marble, terrazzo, granite, tile, concrete, and cobblestone flooring. We are currently seeking a PAINTER TECHNICIAN (APPLICATOR) to join our team. If you possess floor coating expertise, this may be an excellent opportunity for you. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** **Education** * Completed secondary education. * Technical studies in civil construction, industrial painting, or related fields are desirable. **Experience** * Minimum 2 years as an industrial painter or coating applicator. * Experience in industrial maintenance companies is desirable. **Technical Knowledge** * Knowledge of concrete surface preparation via grinding, scarifying, or mechanical cleaning prior to painting. * Experience applying industrial epoxy systems, self-leveling resins, and cementitious polyurethane. * Experience with waterproofing systems, sealers, and membrane coatings. * Knowledge of leveling and repair mortar application is desirable. **Job Responsibilities** * Perform surface preparation through cleaning, profiling, sanding, shot blasting, or other methods, ensuring optimal conditions for coating application. * Apply epoxy paints on industrial floors, adhering to technical procedures, drying times, and required film thicknesses. * Apply self-leveling resin, epoxy, and polyurethane systems for surface protection and finishing, ensuring uniformity, durability, and high-quality final finish. * Apply acrylic paints on surfaces requiring such treatment, in accordance with project specifications. * Apply self-leveling coatings and repair mortars, ensuring uniform distribution, proper leveling, and high-quality finish. * Correctly prepare and proportion paint and coating components, following manufacturer-specified mixing ratios. * Interpret technical data sheets and safety data sheets to ensure correct preparation, application, and handling of products used. * Comply with safety procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and best practices during service execution. * Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition. * Coordinate work progress with the Site Supervisor and report any technical issues that may affect quality or project schedule. **Working Hours** * Monday to Sunday, with 1 day off (preferably Sunday) **We Offer** * Salary: S/2,000.00 to S/2,500.00 * Remype payroll: Only 15 vacation days per year * Work modality: Field-based work * Work schedule: Full-time Salary: S/.2,000.00 - S/.2,500.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
