We are currently seeking 01 TECHNICAL OPERATIONS ASSISTANT. JOB OBJECTIVE Provide comprehensive support to operational management through route and service planning, and technical supervision of the driver workforce. Includes strategic information analysis for route design and implementation of adjustments to ensure technical and operational system efficiency. · ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Transportation Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines. INDUSTRY BACKGROUND: Preference will be given to candidates from transportation or logistics companies; however, applicants from other industries will also be considered, provided they possess the required experience for this position. EXPERIENCE Minimum 1 year of experience as an Operations, Scheduling, or Service Planning Assistant, preferably within the transportation, operations, or logistics sector. REQUIRED AND PREFERRED SKILLS Required Experience in database recordkeeping Knowledge of management indicators Experience in preparing technical reports Experience creating effective presentations (PPT) Knowledge of process mapping and documentation Microsoft Excel – Advanced Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with Java or Visual Basic (programming) Power BI – Intermediate Preferred: Experience in fleet operational management. Proficiency in: TransCAD, ArcGIS, Syncro, Vissim. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS Route and Service Planning: Design and optimize routes, frequencies, and services (trunk and feeder lines) based on demand and operational capacity. Demand Planning: Conduct demand forecasts and trip assignments using TransCAD, integrating validation data and field study results. Workforce Management: Schedule weekly and monthly shifts, rest days, leaves, and training sessions, ensuring operational availability for planned routes. Operational Assignment: Execute weekly assignment of services to drivers according to route design and fleet planning. Technical Optimization: Develop mathematical models to optimize both workforce management processes and kilometers-driven efficiency. Communication Management: Serve as liaison between operations and drivers to resolve queries regarding services, shifts, and operational status. Efficiency Analysis: Monitor adherence-to-schedule indicators, record data in dashboards, and conduct cost projections. Fieldwork: Collect field data and verify route operational performance and on-road working conditions.
