We are looking for our next Senior IT Security Specialist, based in San Borja, Lima, Peru. Today, we operate in 7 Latin American countries, plus offices in China and India. What is the main objective of this role? To administer the bank’s corporate security services and solutions to enable and sustain business growth. What will you do on a day-to-day basis? * Collaborate on managing information security incidents and vulnerabilities for the bank through corporate and/or targeted scans, establishing response plans—including report and KPI generation. * Collaborate on reviewing, developing, and approving use cases in SIEM and other security solutions, coordinated with SOC and CSIRT. * Collaborate on developing and approving the bank’s security policies, procedures, standards, and related regulatory requirements. * Generate metrics on coverage, effectiveness, and compliance of security solutions and services. * Participate in technical working groups and emergency sessions in response to security, cybersecurity, continuity, and fraud incidents. * Advise on evolutionary projects and initiatives involving technological security aspects, aligning them with the bank’s and corporate security standards. * Maintain continuous updates to the catalog of technological and cybersecurity security solutions, aligned with ticket management and defined response times agreed upon with your direct supervisor and the organization—including report and KPI generation. * Collaborate on monitoring and enforcing security standards for PCI DSS, ASA, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, and NIST. * Define, design, update, decommission, and manage—jointly with your manager—the applicability of secure configuration baselines for the bank’s information assets. * Participate in security tool implementation projects, as well as maintenance, control, and even decommissioning activities. What do you need to apply? * Professional: Systems Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or related fields, with security courses and certifications. * Minimum 5 years of proven experience in banking and finance security, ASA, PCI, ISO 27001, NIST. * Experience implementing and administering security solutions, handling KPIs and SLAs. * Strong ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary, corporate, and vendor teams. * Availability to work onsite at our San Borja, Lima office three times per week. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Minimum 5 years of proven experience in banking and finance security, ASA, PCI, ISO 27001, NIST. * Systems Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or related fields, with security courses and certifications. * Experience implementing and administering security solutions, handling KPIs and SLAs. * Strong ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary, corporate, and vendor teams.
