Job Summary: We are looking for a Backend Developer to evolve FinisherData and MisOlas by building and maintaining robust, high-performance microservices in Python. Key Highlights: 1. Among our key developments are: * **FinisherData**: timing system with **video finish** for sporting events. * **MisOlas**: app for **viewing ocean waves** and generating **clips** of your best waves. We aim to grow rapidly, scale via microservices, and strengthen our backend. The Challenge: You will join the team evolving **FinisherData** and **MisOlas**, building and maintaining robust, high-performance, and easily deployable **microservices**. Responsibilities * Design and develop **Python microservices** (FastAPI, Django REST, or Flask). * Create and integrate **REST APIs** and internal services. * Manage databases (relational and/or NoSQL). * Implement unit and integration tests. * Automate deployments using Docker and CI/CD. * Collaborate with other teams (frontend, mobile) to define and implement API contracts. Requirements (Mandatory) * **Python experience** applied to backend development. * Experience working with **microservices** (design, communication, deployment). * Knowledge of **Docker** and **Git**. * Proficiency in at least one database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Nice-to-Have (Not Mandatory) * Familiarity with **FastAPI**, **Django REST Framework**, or **Flask**. * Experience with **Redis** and message queues (**RabbitMQ/Kafka**). * Familiarity with **CI/CD** and cloud deployments (AWS/GCP/Azure). * Knowledge of **video or multimedia processing**. * Passion for sports, surfing, or event technology.
