




Job Summary: We are seeking a Cook to prepare and cook dishes, ensure food quality, and maintain high standards of hygiene and inventory management. Key Highlights: 1. Participation in the creation and standardization of new recipes **Main Responsibilities:** * **Daily mise en place:** Washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning vegetables, meats, and other ingredients. * **Production:** Preparing and cooking requested dishes while adhering to delivery timelines and standard recipes. * **Quality Control:** Verifying freshness, flavor, and temperature of preparations before service. * **Storage and FIFO:** Labeling, dating, and storing ingredients using the FIFO system; monitoring cold storage temperatures. * **Inventory Management:** Submitting requisitions to the warehouse, assisting with supplier deliveries, and participating in daily inventory counts. * **Cleaning:** Daily cleaning of assigned station; deep cleaning of major equipment (ovens, fryers, griddles) once per week. * **Occasional Duties:** Assisting in the creation/standardization of new recipes and reporting equipment malfunctions. **Minimum Requirements:** * **Education:** Incomplete culinary studies or completed secondary education with extensive proven experience. * **Experience:** 1 year as an Advanced Kitchen Assistant or Cook (minimum 1.5 years in Food & Beverage sector). * **Mandatory:** Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and intermediate proficiency in cutting and cooking techniques. **Desirable Requirements:** * **Education:** Technical or university graduate in Gastronomy. * **Experience:** 2–3 years as a Line Cook in medium-to-high-volume restaurants or hotels. * **Knowledge:** HACCP/GMP certification, waste control, dish costing, and expertise in meat handling or international cuisine. **We Offer:** * Market-competitive salary + statutory benefits. * Positive work environment and opportunities for growth. * Continuous learning Salary: S/.1,500.00 – S/.2,200.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
