We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Backend Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience developing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using modern technologies such as Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and AWS. You will work on innovative projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust and efficient solutions. **This position is remote and based in LATAM.** **Requirements** * More than 5 years of backend development experience. * Advanced experience with Node.js and NestJS. * Proficiency in TypeScript for building typed and maintainable applications. * Experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs. * Advanced knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, among others). **Highly Desirable:** * Experience working with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL. * Knowledge of caching systems such as Redis. * Experience with search engines like Elasticsearch. * Knowledge of messaging and event-processing systems such as Kafka. **Nice-to-have:** * Experience with ORMs such as TypeORM. **Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient APIs. * Implement scalable and high-performance cloud-based solutions using AWS. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and technical specifications. * Optimize performance and ensure code quality through best practices and code reviews. * Participate in the architecture of distributed and microservices-oriented systems. * Proactively solve problems and work effectively in agile environments. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Results-oriented mindset and attention to detail. **Benefits** At Devsu, we aim to create an environment where you can thrive both personally and professionally.
