Position Description Mission: Collaborate and support projects carried out by their business unit/department, according to guidelines provided by their supervisor, aiming to improve both decision-making processes and project execution through their work. They are responsible for the execution of construction contracts. They plan, optimize, and supervise the use of resources to ensure construction works are completed on time, according to specifications, and within established costs. Among their most common responsibilities are: managing contracts and obtaining required permits and licenses, preparing budget estimates, planning and setting construction phases, supervising subcontractor activities and subordinate or labor personnel, verifying progress and work quality throughout all project stages, representing the company in relevant matters. Candidate Requirements ACCIONA in its Industrial business requires hiring a professional for one of its projects in Lambayeque. Mission: Lead direct execution of civil works in the field, ensuring efficient use of resources, compliance with technical specifications, quality, safety, environment, costs, and project deadlines. Responsibilities:* Lead and supervise the direct execution of the project’s civil works (foundations, conduits, drainage works, structures, etc.). * Plan and assign daily activities to site personnel (crews), ensuring proper distribution of human resources and equipment. * Coordinate timely supply of materials, tools, and equipment necessary for carrying out activities. * Verify compliance with drawings and technical specifications during execution. * Carry out daily monitoring of physical progress and record productivity metrics. * Control material consumption and labor performance, comparing them against planned values. * Ensure compliance with construction procedures and quality standards. * Coordinate with the surveying team for accurate layout and leveling of structures and civil elements. * Supervise correct execution of critical work items such as steel placement, anchoring, embedded parts, and concrete pouring. * Coordinate and verify quality testing: concrete, compaction, steel, etc. * Implement corrective actions in case of deviations in quality, performance, or schedule. * Ensure compliance with established safety and environmental protocols for the project. * Participate in site meetings and prepare daily and weekly progress reports on physical advancement and resource utilization. * Collaborate with the technical office in updating the construction schedule and cost control. * Propose improvements in work methods and resource optimization. * Call and lead periodic progress review meetings to assess civil works advancement and resolve any issues arising. * Review applicable construction procedures on site and ensure their proper implementation. Academic Background / Qualification * Degree in Civil Engineering, licensed and registered Experience * 10 years of experience as a Civil Works Resident Engineer in infrastructure projects * At least 6 years of experience as a Civil Works Resident Engineer in high-voltage power line construction * Experience leading site personnel and managing own resources (crews, equipment, materials) Additional Knowledge * Intermediate-level proficiency in Office suite * Ability to read and interpret structural and electromechanical drawings. * Knowledge of productivity in civil work items, construction procedures, and quality control. * Familiarity with national regulations and best practices in electrical sector construction. * Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project, and construction control formats ACCIONA has received the Top Employer 2024 and 2025 certification.
