Job Description Mission: Coordinate, schedule, and implement the projects led within their unit/department, based on established standards and procedures, in order to optimize project profitability while ensuring deadlines and established quality standards. They are responsible for the execution of construction contracts. They plan, optimize, and supervise the use of resources to ensure that construction works are carried out on time, according to specifications, and at the established cost. Among their most common functions are: Managing contracts and obtaining required permits and licenses, preparing budget estimates, planning and setting construction phases, supervising subcontractor activities and subordinate or worker personnel, verifying progress achieved and work quality throughout all project phases, representing the company in relevant matters. Candidate Requirements ACCIONA in its INDUSTRIAL business requires hiring a Construction Manager for a project in Lambayeque: Responsibilities:* Plan the development of construction activities under their responsibility. * Ensure optimal execution and economic success of the project. * Execute the assigned project according to the startup plan and site management systems. * Prepare technical studies and/or processes (engineering, maintenance, quality, risk prevention, environment, among others) supporting the projects. * Optimize the use of human, material, and machinery resources, prioritizing efficiency and minimizing costs. * Control and adjust the project budget through continuous cost analysis and early identification of deviations. * Negotiate with suppliers and contractors, ensuring competitive pricing without compromising service or material quality. * Supervise contractual and administrative aspects, ensuring the project meets agreed timelines and costs specified in the contract. * Prepare and update technical documentation, including progress reports, cost control, and construction drawings, using modern document management tools. * Analyze and evaluate their construction execution plan. Guarantee the project's economic results. * Implement and disseminate common operational and site management systems. * Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and logistics departments to ensure synergistic EPC execution. * Ensure execution according to technical specifications, international standards (IEEE, IEC), and local regulations (OSINERGMIN, COES, MINEM). * Promote the use of technological tools: MS Project, Primavera P6, BIM, drones, among others. * Lead civil, electromechanical, testing, and commissioning site management. * Participate in the planning and execution of individual, functional tests, and commissioning. * Coordinate with COES to meet requirements for achieving experimental operation and commercial operation milestones. Experience:* Minimum 8 years of experience managing electrical infrastructure construction projects, with at least 5 years in leadership roles (Project Manager, Construction Manager, etc.). * Proven experience in executing transmission line or substation projects of 138kV or higher. * Familiarity with implementing advanced construction technologies such as BIM, IoT, Big Data, and process automation (not mandatory). Education:* University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields (licensed and registered). * Additional training in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications, etc.), quality management (ISO 9001, Six Sigma), and environmental management (ISO 14001) (desirable). * Specialized courses in digital transformation for construction (BIM, IoT in construction, etc.) are highly valued (desirable). * Courses or diplomas in transmission lines, substations, protection and high-voltage electrical safety systems. Technical Competencies: * Knowledge of applicable local and international regulations for transmission lines, substations, and electrical constructions (international standards such as IEEE, IEC, local regulations (OSINERGMIN, COES, MINEM)). * Proficiency in cost and budget management: Cost analysis, budget forecasting, procurement management, etc. * Mastery of schedule management.
