Position Description Mission: Collaborate and support projects carried out by their business unit/department, according to guidelines provided by their supervisor, aiming to improve through their work both decision-making processes and project execution. They are responsible for the execution of construction contracts. They plan, optimize, and supervise the use of resources to ensure that construction works are completed on time, according to specifications, and within established costs. Among their most common responsibilities are: managing contracts and obtaining required permits and licenses, preparing budget estimates, planning and setting construction phases, supervising subcontractor activities and subordinate or labor personnel, verifying progress achieved and work quality throughout all project phases, representing the company in relevant matters. Candidate Requirements At ACCIONA, for our industrial business, we are currently seeking a Planning Engineer for our transmission lines and substations project in Lambayeque: Academic Background / Qualifications * Graduated electrical, mechanical-electrical, civil, or industrial engineer. Experience * Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and/or control of high-voltage transmission line or substation projects. * Experience in projects under EPC contracts. * Experience applying project planning and control methodologies involving multiple work fronts. * Solid knowledge in planning (schedules), productivity analysis, Operational Result, Earned Value, and change management. Additional Knowledge * Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. * Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), S-curves, and performance indicator tracking. * PMP certification or project management training desirable. * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and discipline-specific schedules. * Knowledge of construction processes for high-voltage electrical projects (civil works, electromechanical installation, testing, and commissioning). * Familiarity with regulatory processes in the electricity sector (COES, OSINERGMIN, MINEM).
