Position Summary:
We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor for a global agro-industrial corporation, responsible for overseeing accounting closings, preparing reports, and ensuring the integrity of accounting records.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision and support for monthly accounting closings.
2. Collaboration in the preparation and review of accounting reports.
3. Monitoring of accounting processes and error detection.

ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support the execution of monthly accounting closings for assigned processes, coordinating with various departments to meet deadlines established by Coordination or Management.
Support the preparation and review of individual and consolidated accounting reports, verifying discrepancies in accounts payable recording and expense control, reporting findings to supervisors and ensuring basic integrity of the accounting records.
Review and collect documentation supporting accounting transactions for assigned processes, ensuring compliance with basic guidelines defined by Coordination.
Collaborate in implementing established policies and procedures for assigned processes, reporting deviations and proposing adjustments to supervisors.
Prepare preliminary individual financial statement notes as well as basic accounting reports for supervisor review.
Monitor accounting processes under supervision through routine controls and checklists, ensuring application of standard practices and timely error detection.
Review accounting information and participate in preparing special reports when requested by immediate supervisor.
Perform activities related to the implementation or use of SAP modules in assigned processes, following instructions from the IT department or Coordination.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Three years of experience in similar positions
Tax knowledge
Diploma in IFRS
