




Job Summary: Support the implementation and improvement of the Environmental Management System, verification of legal compliance, and monitoring of environmental performance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support environmental management and compliance with legal requirements. 2. Promote environmental awareness and continuous improvement of the system. 3. Participate in root cause analysis and follow-up of nonconformities. **Position:** **Environmental Assistant** **Profile:** * Higher education in engineering and/or technical environmental studies or related disciplines. * Minimum 6 months of certified experience in environmental management or Environmental Management Systems (EMS). * Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015\. * Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015\. * Knowledge of ISO 17025:2017\. * Knowledge of Law No. 27317, Solid Waste Management Law\. * Knowledge of Law No. 28611, General Environmental Law and its amendments. * Availability for rotating shifts. * Residence in Trujillo. **Main Responsibilities:** * Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Environmental Management System, including identification of environmental aspects and impacts, risks and opportunities (Environmental IPERC), and planning of control actions. * Maintain up-to-date legal requirements and other environmental commitments, verify compliance, and ensure documented evidence for audits. * Control and maintain documented information of the system, ensuring proper management, updating, and traceability. * Ensure laboratory operations are conducted under controlled conditions to minimize environmental impacts and properly manage waste. * Monitor the environmental parameter monitoring plan and organizational environmental performance using indicators, objectives, and targets. * Support internal and external audits by managing evidence and following up on nonconformities, incidents, and corrective actions. * Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of continuous improvement actions, verifying their effectiveness. * Coordinate environmental training and inductions to raise staff awareness and competence. * Promote environmental culture, system compliance, and timely reporting of risks, incidents, and substandard conditions. * Support environmental impact assessment of changes and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. **Benefits:** * Life insurance. * Meal allowance. * Formal payroll under the general regime.
