




Job Summary: The Data Engineer Technical Lead is a strategic-operational role that drives the technical execution of trainees, ensuring high-quality standards and scalable solutions within the Data COE. Translates DATA's strategic vision into high-quality solutions. The Data Engineer Technical Lead is a strategic-operational role within the Data & Governance team. Its function is to act as the technical execution engine for the talent pipeline, ensuring that trainees operate under the path, standards, guidelines, and best practices defined by the Data COE. This role is responsible for translating the Data COE's strategic vision into high-quality code and scalable solutions executed by trainees. Position Mission Ensure that the Trainee group achieves maximum technical excellence through close mentorship, removal of impediments, and continuous coaching. Its mission is to bring Data Academy to life daily, ensuring that every trainee delivery not only meets business needs but also elevates the company's technical standard. Experience and Education Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a senior data engineer. Minimum 1–2 years of experience technically leading Data Engineering projects (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses). Proven experience in technical mentoring and training junior profiles or trainees. Ability to manage work plans and technical upskilling roadmaps. Technical Knowledge Advanced proficiency in GCP: BigQuery, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage. Code Leadership: Advanced SQL proficiency; intermediate Python proficiency; oriented toward large-volume data processing and streaming processing. Governance and Quality: Application of Data Quality policies and data catalog management. Modeling and Architecture: Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT design and Lakehouse architectures. Skills Proven ability in coaching, people development, and resolution of technical conflicts. Communication skills to simplify complex concepts and align them with Leads' objectives.
