Job Summary: A professional with experience in firewall and security solutions administration, focused on the Palo Alto Networks ecosystem, to provide perimeter security support and maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Administration and support of Palo Alto perimeter security solutions. 2. Collaboration in resolving connectivity and security incidents. 3. Deployment and monitoring of endpoint protection solutions using Cortex XDR. We are seeking a professional with hands-on experience administering firewalls and security solutions, specifically within the Palo Alto Networks ecosystem. **Main Responsibilities:** * Administer and provide first- and second-level support for perimeter security solutions, primarily Palo Alto (NGFW) firewalls. * Support implementation, configuration, and maintenance of security policies, NAT, VPNs, and security profiles on Palo Alto devices. * Perform proactive network monitoring and initial analysis of security events (logs) using native tools or centralized management platforms such as Panorama. * Assist in deploying and monitoring endpoint protection solutions, with emphasis on Palo Alto Cortex XDR. * Collaborate in resolving connectivity and security incidents, reporting anomalies and escalating complex issues to higher-level teams. * Document configurations, network diagrams, and incident response procedures. **Job Requirements:** * University graduate in Systems Engineering, Networking and Communications, Cybersecurity, or related fields. * Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on technical support experience in networking and firewall administration, preferably with Palo Alto Networks. * Demonstrable knowledge of firewall policy configuration, routing, VLANs, and VPNs (IPSec/SSL). * Familiarity with the Palo Alto environment, including foundational knowledge of Cortex XDR and Panorama. * Entry-level certifications or ongoing training in Palo Alto (e.g., PCCET or progress toward PCNSA/PCNSE) are highly valued. * Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts and TCP/IP protocols. **Working Conditions:** * Position type: Full-time \- on-site.
