




Position Summary: We are seeking a professional intern to provide direct operational support in import activities, focusing on repetitive tasks and documentation management, with the opportunity to learn in a dynamic environment. Learning in a real and dynamic operational environment Kroton S.A.C. is a leading Peruvian company specializing in the distribution of security equipment, structured cabling, fiber optics, computing, and wireless solutions. We also own proprietary brands — Dixon for security and technology equipment, and Dixon Lighting for lighting solutions — which complement our portfolio. We work with major Asian market brands and serve retail, operator, and project channels nationwide. 1\. POSITION OBJECTIVE The professional intern has two equally important areas of responsibility: * Direct operational support to the Import Assistant and Import Analyst in highly repetitive tasks: bulk purchase order (PO) upload into EXACTUS, tracking updates, and documentation management. 2\. REQUIRED PROFILE 2\.1 Academic Background * Student in the final three semesters or graduate (within the last one year) in International Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. * Training or coursework in Data Analysis, International Trade, Logistics, or Business Intelligence will be valued. 2\.2 Technical Knowledge Advanced Excel with VBA — MANDATORY * Pivot tables, Power Query, advanced formulas (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMPRODUCT). * VBA macros. * Handling linked files: importing data from other worksheets, folders, or external files. Basic SQL — DESIRABLE * SELECT, WHERE, GROUP BY, simple JOINs for querying relational databases. Experience with EXACTUS or similar ERP — DESIRABLE but not mandatory * Prior experience entering data into any ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SIGE, or others). 2\.3 Soft Skills * Accuracy and organization in data entry. * Ability to learn quickly in a real operational environment where processes are not always fully documented. * Ability to manage workload under pressure. * Clear communication to report progress, identified errors, and blockers to the immediate supervisor. 3\. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES AREA A — Operational Support in Imports These are the operational tasks with the most immediate impact. A1\. Bulk Purchase Order (PO) Upload into EXACTUS — Primary Function Currently performed daily by the Import Assistant. With full system access from day one, the intern assumes this responsibility under supervision during the first month. * Support in receiving validated orders from the Supply Planner and preparing the bulk upload file in the format required by EXACTUS. * Support in executing the bulk PO upload into the system, verifying that all mandatory fields are completed: item code, supplier, quantity, price, payment terms, and estimated date. * Review post-upload errors, identify, and correct records rejected by the system. * Support in registering processed POs in the internal import control log. A2\. Cargo Documentation Management * Digitally organize and archive scanned documents per shipment, following the folder structure defined by the department. * Follow up with suppliers on pending documents: Commercial Invoice (CI), Packing List (PL), Telex Release Bill of Lading (BL), and Certificates of Origin. A3\. Cargo Tracking Updates * Support in updating tracking information with data provided by freight forwarders: Estimated Time of Departure (ETD), Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), document status, vessel changes. * Verify consistency between tracking data and EXACTUS; report discrepancies. AREA B — Support to Import Analyst B1\. Cargo Documentation Management * Follow up on technical specifications submitted by line managers and/or suppliers for new products. * Prepare and submit complete documentary packages for each shipment to Accounting, verifying completeness prior to submission and recording the delivery date. * Consolidate and monitor payments for Customs Declaration Forms (DUAS).
