**Important Information** Location: Peru Work Mode: Hybrid, 2 or 3 days onsite per week **Job Summary** As a ***Senior Java Developer (18955)***, you will join a highly skilled, agile technology team responsible for supporting and developing cutting-edge solutions to meet our business requirements. You will help accelerate our clients’ business outcomes through innovation in advanced digital products. **Responsibilities and Functions** * Develop and maintain backend services using Java 11 or later, ensuring quality, stability, proper exception handling, and traceability. * Implement reactive flows using RxJava or Spring WebFlux for high-performance and concurrent applications. * Develop and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito, ensuring code quality and adherence to sound development practices. * Collaborate on the deployment and operation of services in containerized and orchestrated environments using Kubernetes and AWS services. **Requirements and Skills** * Intermediate experience in backend development using Java 11 or later. * Intermediate experience in reactive programming using RxJava or Spring WebFlux. * Knowledge and experience implementing unit tests with JUnit and Mockito. * Knowledge and experience in using and operating Kubernetes. * Experience working with AWS services such as EKS, ECS, SQS, SNS, and S3. * Proficient handling of custom exceptions and traceability in backend applications. * Prior experience with transactional systems or high-volume processing systems (desirable). * Basic knowledge of PySpark (desirable). * Availability to start the project immediately (ASAP). **About Encora** Encora is the preferred digital engineering and modernization partner for some of the world’s leading enterprises and digital-native companies.
