**POSITION DESCRIPTION:** A leading company in the mining industry is seeking top talent to fill the position of **SURVEYOR\-CAD TECHNICIAN**, meeting the following requirements: * Technical degree in Surveying * Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles * Specific experience in managing and conducting topographic surveys for industrial plant construction projects, infrastructure, tailings dams, or reservoirs. * Advanced knowledge in operating surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, etc.) * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and geospatial maps. * Experience with CHCNAV i73 mobile differential GPS equipment. * Knowledge of geotechnics and earthwork operations in mining. * Proficient in computer-aided design and drafting software (CAD such as AutoCAD Civil 3D). * Knowledge of mining and industrial safety standards. * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Willingness to travel and work in Chala (Arequipa) under a 14×7 work schedule. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Conduct topographic surveys and layout measurements using total station, GPS, and leveling instruments. * Assume duties of Resident Assistant during their days off, supporting planning and technical control tasks. * Apply and promote safety and environmental regulations during field and office activities. * Process survey data to generate calculations, profiles, and graphical representations required for the project. * Create and update digital topographic drawings in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D according to project progress. * Manage and maintain an updated topographic database to ensure accurate and accessible information. * Daily inspection and maintenance of surveying equipment, identifying any damage or malfunctions, and promptly reporting maintenance needs to the responsible department. * Document and record all completed work in detail to ensure traceability and technical support. * Prepare technical reports related to surveys and geometric control for project supervision and management. * Coordinate with construction teams to ensure correct application and use of survey data, guaranteeing execution quality. * Produce supplementary or specific reports on particular surveying or control activities. * Assist in collecting and recording data for monitoring and controlling earthwork movements in mining operations. * Perform other duties assigned by supervisors that are related to the role and responsibilities of the position.
