**POSITION DESCRIPTION:** A leading company in the mining industry is seeking the best talent to fill the position of **SURVEYOR\-CAD TECHNICIAN,** meeting the following requirements: * Technical degree in Surveying * Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles * Specific experience in managing and conducting topographic surveys for industrial plant construction projects, infrastructure, tailings ponds or dams. * Advanced knowledge in operating surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, etc.) * Knowledge in interpretation of blueprints and geospatial maps. * Experience with CHCNAV i73 mobile differential GPS. * Knowledge of geotechnics and earthworks in mining. * Proficient in computer-aided design and drafting software (CAD such as AutoCAD Civil 3D). * Knowledge of mining and industrial safety. * Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Availability to travel and work in Chala (Arequipa) under a 14x7 schedule. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Conduct topographic surveys and layout using total station, GPS, and leveling instruments. * Assume the duties of Resident Assistant during their off days, supporting planning and technical control tasks. * Apply and promote safety and environmental standards during field and office activities. * Process survey data to generate calculations, profiles, and graphical representations required for the project. * Create and update digital topographic drawings in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D according to project progress. * Manage and maintain an updated topographic database to ensure accurate and accessible information. * Inspect and care for surveying equipment daily, identifying any damage or anomalies, and immediately report maintenance needs to the responsible department for prompt attention. * Document and record all work performed in detail to ensure traceability and technical support. * Prepare technical reports related to surveys and geometric control for project supervision and management. * Coordinate with the construction team to ensure proper application and use of survey data to guarantee execution quality. * Prepare supplementary or specific reports on particular survey or control activities. * Assist in collecting and recording data for monitoring and controlling earth movements in mining operations. * Perform other duties assigned by supervisors related to the scope and responsibilities of the role.
