**Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities** You will join the Grid Solution Engineering team, South America Sub-Region, analyzing customer requirements and offers to develop conceptual and basic design proposals that meet their expectations, promote the use of our technology and products, remain highly competitive in the local market, and incorporate continuous improvement. Additionally, for ongoing projects, you will be responsible for ensuring that the electrical and electromechanical designs we deliver—developed together with our suppliers and engineering consultants—are designed and manufactured according to end-customer requirements and in compliance with applicable national and international standards governing the project. **How You Will Excel:** * Lead or carry out the development of medium, high, and extra-high voltage electrical substation solutions within the electromechanical engineering discipline for bids involving the business unit. * Lead or carry out basic and detailed engineering development for assigned high and extra-high voltage electrical substation solutions under the business unit. * Provide technical support to the sales team during customer meetings and/or presentations. * Deliver remote or on-site technical support during the construction, testing, and commissioning phases of high-voltage electrical substations. * Master Siemens Energy's portfolio of products and services. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of the design process and engineering management for high and extra-high voltage substations. **What You Bring:** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with 5 years of general experience and at least 2 years focused on high and extra-high voltage electrical substation design within the electromechanical discipline. * Knowledge of applicable national and international standards for substation design, as well as equipment selection for switchyards (circuit breakers, disconnectors, measuring transformers, inductive equipment) and medium voltage (switchgear and switching equipment). * Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and familiarity with BIM methodology. * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, with strong verbal and written communication skills, teamwork abilities, and adaptability to change. * Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, MS Office 365, among others. * Desirable experience with ETAP, DigSILENT, and specialized training in the field. **About the Team** We are a multicultural team deeply committed to achieving our company's goals, focused on meeting the requirements of our internal and external customers on time and with high quality.
