




DESCRIPTION A leading consumer goods company \- food sector is seeking professionals to perform the following functions: * Plan, organize, and supervise all logistics activities related to procurement, warehousing, distribution, and transportation. * Design and implement logistics strategies that optimize costs, time, and service levels, aligned with the company's objectives. * Manage inventory and stock control, ensuring appropriate inventory levels and efficient turnover of materials and products. * Coordinate with purchasing, production, sales, and finance departments to ensure an integrated and efficient supply chain. * Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety, organization, and product maintenance standards. * Monitor and evaluate the performance of carriers and logistics providers, negotiating rates and ensuring service quality. * Ensure compliance with regulatory and documentation requirements for transportation, storage, customs, and occupational safety. * Manage the logistics department budget, controlling expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising operational efficiency. * Develop and implement logistics contingency plans to ensure supply chain continuity in the event of potential disruptions. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Intermediate Excel skills (essential) * 5 years of experience in the field
