MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – HOSPITAL AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS **Work location:** Lima (with availability to travel to provinces) **Contract type:** Full-time / On-site **Job Description** **Teknisolutions S.A.C.**, a company specialized in **air conditioning, hospital maintenance, and electromechanical systems projects**, is seeking to hire a **licensed Mechanical Electrical Engineer** with **at least 5 years of experience** in the **design, supervision, and installation of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems for hospitals and laboratories.** The professional will be responsible for **ensuring the proper technical and regulatory execution** of hospital HVAC projects, guaranteeing quality, energy efficiency, and biosafety in every intervention. **Main Responsibilities** * Develop and/or review **technical drawings, thermal calculations, and technical specifications** for hospital air conditioning projects. * Supervise the **installation, assembly, and commissioning** of HVAC systems (VRF, Chillers, Fan Coil, Rooftop, etc.). * Ensure compliance with **national and international standards**: * ASHRAE 62\.1 / 90\.1 / 170, NFPA 99, ISO 14644, NTS N° 112\-MINSA/DGIESP. * Coordinate with designers, contractors, and client technical representatives. * Prepare **technical reports, progress reports, and testing protocols.** * Implement **energy efficiency improvements and preventive maintenance programs.** **Requirements** * **Professional degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics.** * **Licensed and registered** with the Colegio de Ingenieros del Perú. * **Minimum of 5 years of experience** in **hospital projects or climate control for critical environments.** * Solid knowledge in: * HVAC system design, pressurization, and HEPA filtration. * Thermal load calculations (HAP, Revit MEP, AutoCAD). * System control and automation (BMS, PLC, SCADA). * Desirable: **Postgraduate diploma in Hospital Air Conditioning or Hospital Engineering.** **Personal Competencies** * Technical leadership and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. * Rigor, responsibility, and commitment to technical quality. * Focus on safety and compliance with MINSA regulations. * Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure. **We Offer** * Opportunity to join a company with high-level hospital projects. * Continuous training in air conditioning, hospital engineering, and environmental control. * Competitive salary based on experience. * Excellent work environment and professional development opportunities.
