**Risk Prevention Specialist – SSOMA (Flyer)** **Modality:** In-person **Location:** Lima **Remuneration:** S/ 3,200.00 monthly **Position type:** Full-time **Position Description** Our company is looking for a committed and proactive **Risk Prevention Specialist** with experience in the documentary and operational management of the **Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management System (SSOMA)**. The objective of the position is to ensure compliance with **Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)** regulations, supervising high-risk activities and promoting a preventive culture within assigned projects. **Requirements** * **Education:** * **Licensed or registered Engineer** in Industrial Hygiene and Safety, Environmental, Industrial, Chemical, or Civil Engineering; **or** * **Technician in Occupational Safety and Health.** *(Must have corresponding certificates)* * **Minimum Experience:** 2 years working as a **Risk Prevention Specialist or SSOMA Supervisor.** *(Certified)* * **Specific Experience:** Supervising **high-risk tasks**, such as: working at heights, hot work, electrical work, confined spaces, lifting operations, excavations, or handling hazardous materials (HAZMAT). *(Certified)* * **Additional Training:** * **Diploma or specialization** in Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, or Environment (minimum 250 hours). * **Course or specialization** in Supervision of High-Risk Work (minimum 20 hours). * **Other desirable knowledge:** * Interpretation of the **ISO 45001:2018 standard**. * Technical regulations on **PPE and fall protection systems**. * Monitoring of **occupational agents**. * **First aid** and **fire extinguisher use.** * **Basic AutoCAD.** * **Availability:** Immediate, to work in Lima. **Main Responsibilities** * Develop and update SSOMA documentation (IPERC, PETS, Safety Plan, JSA, PTW, among others). * Communicate safe work procedures and risk analyses to personnel before starting activities. * Conduct field inspections to verify compliance with preventive measures and proper use of PPE. * Deliver **daily safety talks (5 minutes)** and inductions for new personnel. * Perform **Job Safety Analysis (JSA)** and manage **Risk Work Permits (PTW)**. * Coordinate and supervise safety training, drills, and monitoring. * Participate in **incident and accident investigations**. * Maintain SSOMA documentation (SCTR, checklists, safety talks, inductions, reports, etc.). * Prepare **reports, summaries, and SSOMA dossiers** upon project or site completion. **Personal Competencies** * Leadership and proactivity in the field. * Assertive communication and teamwork ability. * Organization and attention to detail. * Commitment to safety culture and continuous improvement.
