REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of Civil Construction Mechanics, Production Mechanics or related fields Knowledge in assembling metal structures, piping, spools, welding, grinding and oxyacetylene cutting. Knowledge, interpretation and reading of blueprints. Manufacturing methods. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and diagrams. Control the dimensions of base material and/or cut material according to technical specifications Use of oxy-fuel cutting for straightening structures. Minimum 3 years of experience performing duties as an assembler or assistant assembler. Essential to have workshop experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Review workshop drawings to define tools, direct and indirect consumables to be used, and plan personnel tasks. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for mechanical metal structure assembly. Perform the assembly process of metal structures. Carry out bracing and welding tasks. Perform lifting operations of structures. Use manual and industrial tools for assembling structures. Responsible for order, cleanliness and maintenance of the production plant. Inspect and verify the quality of finished products. Pre-assemble the structure according to the assembly drawing. Assemble the final structure according to the issued drawing.
