On this occasion, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of: Cashier **Position Objective** Responsible for conducting payment transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring customers receive fast and high-quality service. The role also includes managing cash, cards, and other payment methods, correctly recording sales, and providing customer assistance at all times. The goal is to ensure a smooth shopping experience, minimizing waiting time and maintaining high standards of security in cash handling operations. **Main Responsibilities** * Verify that the amount provided by the customer is correct and count money accurately. * Process returns or exchanges according to the center's policies, ensuring transparency and accuracy in all transactions. * At the end of each shift, perform cash register closing by totaling all transactions and generating corresponding sales and payment reports. * Maintain proper control over bills and coins in the register, requesting cash replenishment when necessary. * Provide warm, efficient, and professional customer service, resolving inquiries and offering assistance as needed during the payment process. * Accurately and promptly record all transactions in the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring data precision. * Prepare and deliver daily sales reports, reporting any discrepancies or irregularities in records according to company procedures. * Strictly follow established rules and procedures for handling cash and other payment methods to prevent losses or fraud. **Requirements** * Technical and/or university degree in accounting (or related fields) * Prior experience in cash handling or customer service roles (desirable) * Experience handling cash and/or processing card payments * Basic knowledge of cash register systems or point-of-sale (POS) platforms * Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays (essential) * Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cash register closing processes **What We Offer** * Payroll with all legal benefits * Positive work environment * Opportunities for growth and development * Training opportunities Job type: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Salary: S/.1,130.00 per month Application Questions: * What availability would you have to join us? * Please share your current phone number and updated email address.
