Our people make the difference in our success. **Type of Contract:** Regular (Undefined) **What are we looking for?** **Responsibilities:** * Propose, monitor, and ensure that the annual reporting and activity plan is carried out as required, coordinating with local units or Holding. * Provide feedback and oversee the preparation of internal validation reports, issuing an analytical, critical, and independent opinion on the processes of development, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of Risk models, as well as on the use test or integration into the management of these models, performing, as appropriate, a complete replication of the model or tool, in line with the Internal Validation Standard, issuing recommendations for identified weaknesses. Alignment with internal and regulatory standards is required. * Evaluate the conclusions from applying performance indicators, triggers, and standards for risk models and/or tools used to assess their performance. * Participate and provide feedback in defining conclusions, limitations, suggestions, and recommendations for the bank's Risk models and/or tools, based on portfolio analysis and studies derived from internal validation reports. * Supervise the assessment and opinion, as applicable, regarding model re-estimation, changes in models, and development of new models to ensure proper risk management and measurement, according to the results and conclusions of internal validation reports. * Manage periodic follow-up on the resolution of recommendations issued in Internal Validation reports. * Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, manuals, procedures, and other documents involved in the proper execution of the Internal Validation function. * Participate in meetings and engage with local regulators, European regulators, auditors, and other entities on matters related to the validation of BBVA Peru's Risk models. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor and promote continuous improvement of the role. **Requirements:** * Professional degree in Statistics, Economics, or Systems Engineering. * +5 years of experience developing and validating models within the financial sector. * Experience leading projects and/or teams. * Proficiency in Python - Pyspark - SQL / SAS (desirable). * Office tools: Google Suite. * Communication skills, proactivity, and quick adaptation in dynamic environments. **Responsible Banking** --------------------- Our responsible banking model **aims to achieve a more inclusive and sustainable society.** Because the future of finance is financing the future.
