We are looking for our next **Treasury \& Collections Manager**, who will play a key role in achieving EFCF financial targets, ensuring liquidity, optimizing the use of financial resources (available cash, investments, and operations), minimizing the cost of capital (debt \& fund management), anticipating and managing risks (e.g., interest rate fluctuations or macroeconomic changes), and controlling and monitoring cash flows (cash inflows and outflows, cash position). **Main Purpose:** You will be responsible for managing and controlling Tigo El Salvador's liquidity, ensuring compliance with the financial and strategic guidelines established by Millicom (MIC). Your role will be crucial in monitoring and achieving EFCF (Equity Free Cash Flow) targets, driving efficiency initiatives and improvements in treasury and collections processes in line with corporate policies. You will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team focused on planning and optimizing cash flow, ensuring solid, efficient operations with strategic impact on the business. **Responsibilities** **Cash Flow Control and Optimization:** * Design, implement, and monitor the EFCF control methodology, ensuring accurate, transparent management aligned with the company’s financial objectives. * Execute pre\-closing and monthly closing of EFCF. * Lead EFCF planning. * Conduct analysis, modeling, and presentation of high-impact EFCF scenarios to support key decisions upon request from the CFO, CEO SV, and regional stakeholders. * EFCF reporting, integrating data from Accounting and projections from relevant departments. * Cash flow reporting to anticipate needs and optimize surpluses. * Propose and drive local efficiency projects that enhance cash flow. **Collections and Payments Management:** * Supervise all income and expenditures, ensuring timeliness and accuracy in transactions. * Review and execute improvements in treasury and collections management in accordance with company policies and strategy. * Optimize collections costs. * Oversee collections and payment management with corporate, government clients, and suppliers. **Relationship with Banks and Financial Institutions:** * Establish negotiations and partnerships with financial institutions to secure better conditions for the company, ensuring optimal service terms, fees, and financial support for operations. * Monitor loan covenants. **Relationship with Internal and External Stakeholders:** * Continuously interact with Managers, Directors, VPs, and HQ Millicom due to cash flow management and control processes. * Collaborate closely with FP\&A, Accounting, Taxes, and Millicom Treasury teams to ensure aligned and efficient execution. * Serve as the key link between Millicom and Tigo El Salvador to ensure effective implementation and achievement of financial goals (EFCF), aligned with corporate priorities. * The leader and their team will be responsible for external customer service with suppliers and corporate/government clients regarding payments and collections with our external stakeholders. **Risks, Controls, and Compliance:** * Apply tools and techniques to identify and mitigate risks associated with the financial environment. * Ensure accuracy, control, and SOX compliance in all cash management processes. * Execute and reinforce controls outlined in the compliance manual (SOX Compliance), minimizing financial risks related to banking and collections processes. **Requirements** * University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics. * MBA or Master’s degree (desirable, not essential). * Advanced English (oral and written). * 5 or more years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management. * Proven experience in expense management and financial control (ideally in the telecommunications industry or sectors with high operational complexity).
