Our people make the difference in our success. **Type of Contract:** Regular (Undefined) **What are we looking for?** Position Description **Responsibilities:** * Ensure risk control of non-financial risks in initiatives and processes within the area/scope of responsibility according to parameters defined by Risk Control Specialists (RCS) and the methodology established by the Group: * Create risk and control records * Monitor risk and control records * Map internal processes of Commercial Banking * Conduct mapping with area managers regarding their own risks and controls * Participate in required activities during the admission of ROs for area initiatives, ensuring proper development of the mitigation and control framework: * Participate in Meet Ups * Participate in Shapings * Participate and ensure achievement of the initiative's tiering * Share with the initiative sponsor the general mitigation and control framework applicable, as well as relevant information for risk identification: regulatory requirements, industry information, reports from Regulators, Internal Audit, External Audit, and others * Participate and ensure the project team develops and implements the mitigation and control framework to be applied in the initiative, following guidelines established by the model * Assist and ensure presentation of the initiative at required Control Boards and CARO Committees according to the initiative’s tiering * Ensure resolution of blocking and non-blocking conditions of the initiative * Generate risk and control records * Update risk and control records until project launch" * Participate and ensure execution of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment exercise for the area by analyzing processes to identify risks of different types and implement mitigation and control frameworks proposed by Risk Control Specialists: * Review Internal Control tool: MIGRO or any other defined by NFR * Participate and ensure completion of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment for the area * Share with process owners in the area the applicable mitigation and control frameworks, as well as relevant information for risk identification (regulatory requirements, industry information, regulator reports, Internal Audit, External Audit, SIRO losses, indicators, among others) * Communicate to the Risk Control Specialist, during Risk & Control Self-Assessments, risks, controls, and indicators not included in the general mitigation and control framework." * Monitor operational risk management in the Area, evaluating design and operation of mitigation and control measures (testing), in order to identify control weaknesses: * Review Internal Control tool: MIGRO or any other defined by NFR * Perform testing (SOX and non-SOX) on all products managed by Commercial Banking * Additionally, monitor transitional accounts managed by Commercial Banking, obtaining information from 3270: Custody applications (TE00\) and accounting entries (HA00\) * Monitor the mitigation and control environment of area processes, using the area's operational risk indicator structure (Management Limits, Key Risk Indicators) * Monitor the mitigation and control environment in processes involving outsourced activities by the area, ensuring compliance with Group policies and procedures regarding outsourcing and vendor management * Monitor operational losses recorded in SIRO for the area and participate in preparing the area's Operational Risk Watch-List * Monitor and promote resolution of control weaknesses identified in unit processes by Regulators, Internal Audit, External Audit, R&CSA, among others * Evaluate control activities (Testing: design and operation) carried out by the area and document evidence * Participate and ensure review, definition, and implementation of mitigation and control measures and development of corresponding action plans * Consider, in managing risks within their scope of responsibility, the potential reputational impact, supported by the Responsible Business discipline * Review and collaborate with process owners or service line owners in the domain to improve the mitigation and control environment for the processes they manage, based on applicable mitigation and control frameworks, to identify possible new risks, weaknesses, controls, or indicators * Participate and ensure definition, implementation, and monitoring of specific operational risk indicators for the area: * Participate and ensure review, definition, and implementation of specific operational risk indicators for the area: Management Limits, Key Risk Indicators, and Key Control Indicators. Applies to all products managed by Commercial Banking * Input into the operational risk management tool the risks, controls, indicators, and other information required by the methodology: * Participate and ensure completion of the risk review and identification exercise * Assess inherent risk and prioritize reviewed and identified risks, determining which are critical risks according to the risk management methodology * Enter risks, controls, indicators, and other required information into the management tool according to the methodology * Determine residual risk * Address challenges (challenge) from various RCSs across the region regarding mitigation and control frameworks implemented in initiatives and processes within their scope of responsibility * Participate in the admission committee, supporting sponsors in reviewing area/responsibility-scope initiatives to ensure development of mitigation and control frameworks * Support monitoring and reporting management of Maximum Rates * Perform other duties assigned by the leader and drive continuous improvement of the role **Requirements:** * Graduate in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or related fields * Minimum 3 years of experience in Risk, Audit, or Process roles * Knowledge of processes and audit of commercial products * Negotiation skills and high proactivity **Responsible Banking** --------------------- Our responsible banking model **aims to achieve a more inclusive and sustainable society.** Because the future of finance is financing the future.
