**Join Our Team as a Database Administrator!** **Job Description:** The Basic Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the company's databases, ensuring their availability, security, and efficiency. Additionally, they will provide support to the development and project teams, guaranteeing the integrity and proper functioning of information systems. **REQUIREMENTS:** **Education:** Professional or technical background related to technology (Systems, Computing, Software, Artificial Intelligence, etc.). **Required Experience:** Minimum **1 year of experience** in database administration or support. **Technical Skills:** * **Database administration:** Installation, configuration, maintenance, and updating of instances. * **Documentation and reporting:** Creation of database diagrams, backup policies, logs, and usage and capacity reports. * **Security and access control:** Management of roles, permissions, encryption, audits, and traceability. * **Performance tuning:** Monitoring queries, indexes, execution plans, and resources. * **Backups and recovery:** Design and implementation of automated backup policies and verified restoration procedures. * **High availability:** Configuration of clusters, replication, Always\-On, failover, and monitoring. * **Integration and development:** Support for third-party systems and optimization of stored procedures. **Personal Skills:** * Analytical ability and attention to detail. * Responsibility and results-oriented. * Good communication and teamwork. * Organization and commitment to information security. **Residence:** * **Preferably reside in Los Olivos or nearby districts** (Independencia, Comas, San Martín de Porres, Carabayllo, etc.). **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Administer and maintain the company's databases (installation, configuration, creation of instances, and user management). * Monitor the performance, security, and availability of database systems. * Execute and validate backups, restorations, and operational continuity plans. * Optimize queries, indexes, and processes to improve system performance. * Implement security, backup, and access audit policies. * Provide support to the development team in creating queries, procedures, and automations. * Assist in data integration with analytics tools (Power BI, ETL, APIs). * Document structures, processes, and backups, proposing continuous improvements in data management. **WORK CONDITIONS:** * **Schedule:** Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. * **Location:** On-site – Los Olivos, Lima. * **Salary:** S/2,500\.00 per month. * **Duration:** Full-time. **We're waiting for you to build the future of technology together!** Job type: Full-time Salary: S/.2,500\.00 per month Work Location: On-site job
