ANALYTICAL LABORATORY is an accredited Environmental Laboratory dedicated to providing environmental monitoring and analysis services for various sectors such as mining, hydrocarbons, industry, fisheries, etc. We are currently seeking a **MICROBIOLOGY LABORATORY ANALYST III** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Degree in Biology or related fields. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in the position. * NTP-ISO/IEC 17025 standard * Microsoft Office (minimum: basic Excel or user level) * Technical English or basic English (optional) * Execution and/or implementation of analyses on environmental and/or food samples. * Control and assurance of result validity * Validation of test methods (optional) * Estimation and evaluation of measurement uncertainty * Knowledge of Minitab or other statistical software (desirable) * Knowledge of microbiological air and surface sampling techniques (optional) **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Comply with the Quality Management System (QMS) policy and other management system guidelines. * Perform analyses according to established methodologies. * Record, document, and maintain all obtained data according to the Management System specifications. * Identify deviations, risks, or improvement opportunities within the management system or procedures related to laboratory service delivery. Report to immediate supervisor. * Ensure application of result validity assurance measures. * Participate in and comply with maintaining order, cleanliness of equipment, instruments, and laboratory facilities. * Implement and/or validate new laboratory methodologies in coordination with the supervisor. * Document studies on testing method uncertainties. * Document studies on testing method validations. * Verify operational status and proper functioning of laboratory equipment according to authorization. * Monitor the calibration, maintenance, and intermediate verification program of laboratory equipment. * Request necessary equipment required for assigned testing activities. * Meet result delivery deadlines set by the immediate supervisor. * Track status in coordination with the Laboratory Supervisor. * Assume the Supervisor's duties during leaves, vacations, and/or any related activities. * Other duties assigned and inherent to the position. **SKILLS:** * Good interpersonal skills and effective communication * Teamwork ability * Willingness to learn **BENEFITS:** * Timely monthly payments. * Professional growth. **COMPENSATION:** * Negotiable * Job type: Full-time Job type: Full-time Salary: Starting at S/.0.01 per month Work location: On-site position
