





We are seeking a professional in microbiology to ensure the microbiological safety and quality of raw materials, intermediate, and finished products through the application of analytical techniques, process control, and compliance with national and international quality standards. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Perform microbiological control of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products**, ensuring compliance with microbiological limits established by national and international standards. * **Conduct microbiological sampling** of surfaces, equipment, environments, and water used in the process. * **Supervise and verify the effectiveness of cleaning and disinfection procedures (SSOP)** in the plant. * **Monitor Critical Control Points (CCP)** related to microbial contamination within the HACCP system. * **Record, analyze, and interpret microbiological results**, proposing corrective actions when necessary. * **Ensure product safety for IQF products** throughout all process stages (receiving, blanching, cooling, freezing, and packaging). * **Prepare periodic microbiological reports and documentation** for the Quality Assurance department. * **Train operational staff** in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food hygiene. * **Participate in internal and external audits**, providing technical support on microbiology and food safety topics. * **Maintain the microbiology laboratory in optimal condition**, ensuring equipment calibration, incubator monitoring, and proper handling of reagents and culture media. **Academic Level:** Bachelor's degree or Licentiate in Microbiology, Biology, Food Industry Engineering, or related fields. **Experience:** 1 to 3 years in microbiology or quality control laboratories (depending on the level of the position).
