Our **Machinery** team is looking for a **RENTAL MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN** to join Inchcape **Lima – Peru**. The purpose of this role is to provide theoretical and technical support to the Rental business fleet customers based on established processes and service guidelines, ensuring operational continuity and thus customer loyalty. **What you will do** * Perform evaluation and/or diagnosis of equipment failures (engine, transmission, differential, hydraulic, hydrostatic systems, etc.) to ensure timely intervention * Prepare evaluation and/or repair reports for equipment to maintain accurate records of all services performed and generate potential claims to the manufacturer * Ensure proper execution of preventive maintenance on equipment to guarantee compliance with manufacturer-recommended standards and maximum mechanical availability * Prepare execution reports for each job completed (regardless of reason), according to business-established guidelines and timelines * Identify and request spare parts using the manufacturer's software/manual to ensure timely supply * Maintain assigned assets and tools with full responsibility and in perfect condition to ensure durability, reliability, and proper return **About you** To be successful in this role, you must: * Hold a university degree in International Trade, International Relations, or related fields. * Have knowledge of customs regulations and procedures. * Intermediate level of English, both spoken and written. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital management tools. * Minimum of one year of experience in similar roles, ideally in international trade. * Experience managing import and export operations, ensuring compliance with legal, technical, and logistical requirements. **What we offer** At Inchcape, we are building the future of mobility, and we invite you to do it with us.
