Job Objective** Plan, execute, and supervise activities related to water quality management and control, ensuring compliance with Environmental Quality Standards (ECA Water – DS No. 004\-2017\-MINAM) and regulations on wastewater discharges, within the framework of current environmental regulations and project or company guidelines. **2\. Academic Background** · Professional degree and licensed in Sanitary Engineering or Environmental Engineering with specialization in Water and Wastewater Management, Environmental Management, or related fields. · Postgraduate studies or diploma in water treatment, environmental regulations, or integrated management systems is desirable. **3\. Work Experience** · Minimum five (05\) years of general experience in environmental, sanitation, or water resource management projects. · Minimum three (03\) years of specific experience in water quality control, discharge management, environmental monitoring, or compliance with ECA Water regulations – DS No. 004\-2017\-MINAM. · Experience in mining, industrial, or infrastructure projects is desirable. **4\. Technical Knowledge** · Thorough knowledge of DS No. 004\-2017\-MINAM (Environmental Quality Standards for Water). · Familiarity with the Wastewater and Discharge Regulations (DS No. 010\-2019\-VIVIENDA) and complementary regulations. · Proficiency in surface and groundwater quality monitoring protocols. · Preparation and interpretation of technical monitoring reports and water balance analyses. · Knowledge of treatment and disposal of domestic and industrial wastewater. · Proficiency in GIS tools and environmental data analysis software (advanced Excel, Minitab, ArcGIS, etc.) is desirable. **5\. Main Responsibilities** · Coordinate and supervise water quality monitoring across different project phases. · Verify compliance with ECA Water standards and maximum permissible discharge limits established by regulations. · Prepare environmental technical reports and compliance reports for submission to competent authorities (ANA, OEFA, MINAM, etc.). · Implement wastewater management and treatment plans, ensuring their proper operation and maintenance. · Provide technical support in environmental impact assessments and environmental audits. · Participate in internal training sessions on water resource management and environmental regulations. **7\. Desired Conditions** · Availability for field work (camps or mining units). · Class A1 driver's license. · Residence in Arequipa or willingness to relocate to operational areas.
