In Peru, we operate in most economic sectors such as mining, agriculture, and fishing, being part of the value chain of their products and services. **Job Description** * Perform raw material sampling on vessels arriving at Chata. * Prepare samples and conduct analyses using the NIR equipment, reporting data on the assigned platform. * Carry out additional analyses on raw materials such as broken, red belly, % bycatch, % juvenile, etc. * Verify the calibration status and operational condition of the equipment under their responsibility. * Participate in the verification program established by the Central Laboratory Coordinator. * Follow the Sampling and Analysis Procedure TBVN for Raw Materials from Fishing Vessels for Discharge at Chatas. * Conduct physical and organoleptic evaluation of raw materials. * Identify non-conformities and propose corrective/preventive actions in the specific execution of their activities. * Report necessary data and information. * Maintain order and cleanliness of the facilities designated as the laboratory at Chata. * Perform other similar duties as directed by the Employer or immediate supervisor according to operational needs and requirements. **Requirements** * Graduate, bachelor's degree holder, or professional title in a related field: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Food Industry Engineering, Fisheries Engineering, Fisheries Biology, Fisheries Technologist, Chemical Technician, or related. * Minimum of 6 months of experience in similar positions or work in fish processing plants and/or frozen products; sampling and analysis in fish processing plants or similar environments. * Intermediate level proficiency in Excel. * Knowledge of testing methods. * Desirable: GMP, HACCP, SSOP, Process Quality Control. * Seafarer's Merchant Marine ID Card (MAN). **Additional Information** * Formal employment from day one. * Life insurance as per legal requirements. * Continuous training opportunities. * Corporate agreements.
