**Functions** * Support in the development of disaster risk management tools, such as the Disaster Prevention and Reduction Plan (PPRRD), Reactive Management Plan (PGR), and Comprehensive Reconstruction Plan (PIR). * Collaborate in the creation of thematic maps on territorial physical characteristics, including geology, geomorphology, hydrography, current land use, among others. * Participate in the development of hazard, vulnerability, and risk maps according to the methodology established by CENEPRED. * Contribute to aligning strategic actions with the guidelines of the National Policy on Disaster Risk Management (PNGRD) and the National Disaster Risk Management Plan (PLANAGERD). * Provide technical and logistical support in other activities or tasks assigned by the coordination area, according to project or institutional requirements. **Requirements** * Graduate or bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geographic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related fields. * Minimum of three (3) months of experience in activities related to disaster risk management or similar areas. * Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software, preferably ArcGIS or QGIS. * Knowledge in satellite image processing and analysis. * Knowledge in risk assessments for natural or human-induced phenomena. * Experience with Saaty’s Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) matrices for hazard, vulnerability, and risk evaluation. * Desirable knowledge in the formulation and implementation of Disaster Risk Management Plans. **Internship Conditions:** * Modality: In-person and fieldwork * Work location: Moquegua * Financial subsidy, travel allowances, meals, accommodation, and internship certificate provided Work schedule: 20 x 10 Position type: Full-time Salary: S/.1,500.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
