Budget and Control Engineer – Galu Service S.A.C. Location: Ate, Lima Mode: On-site – full time Position type: Permanent with benefits Job Description: At Galu Service S.A.C., a growing Peruvian company dedicated to civil and industrial construction projects (clients such as Metso, ACFarma, and Fopesa), we are seeking a Budget and Control Engineer with analytical vision, technical expertise, and a strong sense of profitability. The role is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and controlling budgets and project valuations for construction and industrial projects, working closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and a supporting intern. This position is key to maintaining technical and economic order, ensuring cost compliance, and supporting operational and financial decision-making. ⸻ Main Responsibilities: * Prepare budgets A, B, and C for construction and industrial projects. * Analyze quantities, drawings, and technical specifications. * Prepare monthly valuations in coordination with site supervisors. * Monitor physical vs. economic progress and cost variances. * Coordinate with the logistics department to validate prices and quotations. * Supervise the budgeting intern and review material data sheets. * Update price databases and cost reports in SharePoint. * Support quick quotations and rapid budgeting for industrial services. * Present project profitability reports and monthly S-curves. ⸻ Requirements: * Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Industrial Engineering (licensed or registered). * Minimum 2 years of experience in budgeting, project valuation, and cost control. * Knowledge of quantity takeoffs, unit price analysis, and A–B–C budgeting. * Advanced proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, Project, and budgeting software (Presto or similar). * Familiarity with Revit and Power BI is desirable. * Strong analytical skills, organizational ability, clear communication, and results-oriented mindset. ⸻ Conditions and Benefits: * Permanent employment with statutory benefits. * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. * Opportunity for advancement to Coordinator or Head of Budgeting by 2026. * Training in digital tools (BIM, Power BI, and Dynamics). * Professional, modern, and expanding work environment.
